You are specially welcome to Dawn Michaels School (DMS) where excellence is our watchword. It is hoped that viewing this will persuade you enough to make you decide on joining us. As a 21st century citadel of learning, DMS is well primed to deliver to our learners the 4Cs of contemporary education which are Critical Thinking, Creativity, Communication and Collaboration. It is our sheer delight to provide students with the right skills necessary for success in their age and time; such that they can become effective leaders of the world.
As a school anchored in excellence, we pride ourselves with the efforts we put into ensuring that the mantra of excellence cascades and permeates all facets of the institution- administration, faculty and student body of DMS. We believe that this also is the attitude of God, in whom we trust, who advocates, demands, emphasizes and commands excellence from His children.
Our Christ-centeredness is also very key to our operations. We strongly believe that children should be made to reflect on the commandments of God, and to consciously obey them even as they learn. The value of godliness entrenched in the education we provide are needed to make our world a better place.
DMS provides a joyful learning environment that nurtures children to reach their educational and personal potential. DMS recognizes that each child is an individual; that all children are creative; that all children need to succeed. Therefore, we respect the individual needs of each child; foster a caring and creative environment; and emphasize the moral, social, emotional, physical and intellectual development of each child.
To attain our goals we have a team of highly qualified and dedicated staff who have not only bought into the vision of DMS, but are also doing their best to ensure that the vision is achieved.
We believe that collaboration and open lines of communication help make the home-school connection a successful part of our students’ education. We encourage family participation in classroom and school-wide programs and activities along with our PTA sponsored activities.
Beyond test scores, what anyone familiar with Dawn Michaels School will see daily is children going to school happy and very enthusiastic to learn .
