Excitement, curiosity, and healthy competition took centre stage at Sciencepedia 2025, Dawn Michaels School’s signature science quiz challenge fondly known as “60 Seconds of Fame.” The event brought together bright minds from across the Primary and Secondary sections in a fast-paced celebration of knowledge, confidence, and critical thinking.
Representing their classes, the top three students from each class stepped forward to answer as many science questions as possible within 60 seconds. The competition tested not only scientific knowledge but also speed, accuracy, focus, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Cheers, encouragement, and applause filled the room as students gave their best, creating an atmosphere that was both competitive and supportive.
Sciencepedia 2025 went beyond winning to emphasise learning, growth, and self-belief. Students demonstrated strong recall, problem-solving skills, and confidence in expressing their understanding—
skills that are essential for academic success and lifelong learning. The experience encouraged participants to challenge themselves, embrace learning opportunities, and grow through every attempt.
We proudly celebrate our Sciencepedia 2025 Champions:
Primary School Champion: Jessie Onyeagwu
Secondary School Champion: Chukwudaalu Nnadike
While outstanding performances were recognised, Dawn Michaels School celebrates every student who participated. At DMS, we firmly believe that you don’t lose—you learn. Each participant gained valuable experience, deepened their understanding of science, and built confidence along the way. In DMS, everyone is a winner, because every effort contributes to growth and excellence.
Sciencepedia 2025 reinforced our commitment to nurturing curious, confident, and well-rounded learners. Through engaging academic competitions like this, Dawn Michaels School continues to create meaningful learning experiences that inspire students to love science, think critically, and strive for excellence.
