The stage was set, the questions were ready, and the excitement was high as Dawn Michaels School hosted the HumanitiesPedia Finals 3.0, bringing together some of our brightest young minds for an exciting battle of knowledge.
The competition brought together pupils from Years 1 to 6 in the Primary section, with the top three pupils from each year qualifying to compete. In the Secondary section, the top three students from each class in Years 7 to 9 also earned their place in the competition.
Then, the questions began.
One by one, our contestants took on challenging Humanities questions, putting their knowledge, confidence, memory and quick thinking to the test. The atmosphere grew more exciting with every question as contestants battled to earn the highest number of correct answers.
At the end of the first round, the contestant who answered the most questions correctly in each class emerged as the class winner and earned a place in the next stage of the competition.
But the real test was yet to come.
60 Seconds of Fame
The winning contestants from each class faced off in the highly anticipated 60 Seconds of Fame session.
With just 60 seconds on the clock, every second counted. Contestants had to think quickly, stay focused and answer as many Humanities questions as possible before time ran out.
The tension, excitement and cheers from the audience made every moment memorable as our finalists raced against the clock.
And when the final answers were counted, two exceptional contestants emerged as the ultimate champions.
Okafor Chimbundom was crowned the King of HumanitiesPedia in the Primary section, while Nnadike Chukwudalu claimed the title of King of HumanitiesPedia in the Secondary section.
Their achievement was a testament to their preparation, knowledge, confidence and ability to think quickly under pressure.
HumanitiesPedia Finals 3.0 was more than a competition. It was a celebration of curiosity, learning and the joy of knowledge. From the first question to the final 60 seconds, our pupils demonstrated that learning can be both intellectually stimulating and incredibly exciting.
Congratulations to all the contestants who participated and gave their best, and a special congratulations to our HumanitiesPedia champions, Okafor Chimbundom and Nnadike Chukwudalu.
The crown has found its kings!
