Celebrating Our Amazing Teachers

This year’s World Teachers’ Day was a beautiful reminder of how much our teachers mean to the DMS community.

Although the official day fell on a Sunday, we joined the world online to appreciate our teachers with heartfelt messages celebrating their dedication, creativity, and care.

The in-school celebration took place on Friday, and it was a truly special occasion — not only to honor our wonderful teachers but also to celebrate the retirement of Mr. Uwalaka C., who has dedicated 32 remarkable years to teaching.

The event was filled with smiles, laughter, and touching moments as students, staff, and guests expressed their gratitude. Our amiable Director, Mrs Uchenna C. Ndulue and members of the P.T.A Committee were also present to recognize Mr. Uwalaka’s years of service and the invaluable contributions of all our teachers.

It was a day of joy, appreciation, and reflection — a reminder that teaching is a legacy that lives on in every child whose life has been touched by a teacher.

We remain deeply grateful for our teachers who give their best every day, shaping young minds and inspiring a lifelong love for learning. 💛
