It was a day of celebration, pride and well-deserved recognition at Dawn Michaels School as our school community gathered for the Excellence Award Ceremony and Prefects Investiture. The occasion brought together our Early Years, Primary and Secondary pupils and students to celebrate their efforts, progress and achievements throughout the school year. Every student had a moment to shine. Our pupils and students across the three sections were recognised with Awards for Excellence, celebrating the commitment, growth and achievements they demonstrated throughout the academic year. It was a beautiful reminder that excellence is not only found in outstanding results but also in dedication, consistency, character and the willingness to keep growing. The excitement continued as our overall best-performing students were announced and specially recognised for their exceptional achievements. Their accomplishments were celebrated by the entire school community, providing a proud moment for the students, their families and everyone who had supported their journey.

A New Chapter in Leadership

The day also marked another important milestone as Dawn Michaels School held its Prefects Investiture Ceremony. Following their election, the newly appointed prefects formally stepped into their leadership roles as they received their prefect badges. In a memorable ceremony, the Director of Dawn Michaels School, Mrs Uchenna C. Ndulue, and Barrister Jegede badged the prefects, officially marking the beginning of their tenure. As each badge was placed, it represented more than a title. It represented responsibility, service, trust and the opportunity to make a positive difference within the school community. From the youngest learners in the Early Years to our Secondary students, the ceremony was a celebration of the many ways our pupils and students continue to grow and excel. At Dawn Michaels School, we believe that every child deserves to be recognised for their journey, encouraged in their strengths and challenged to reach even greater heights. The Excellence Award Ceremony was therefore more than an awards presentation. It was a celebration of hard work, growth, achievement and the pursuit of excellence, while the Prefects Investiture reminded our new leaders that true leadership begins with service. Congratulations to all our award recipients and to our newly invested prefects. We are proud of you and look forward to all you will accomplish in the journey ahead.
