Learning, laughter and family time came together for a beautiful day at Dawn Michaels School.
As part of the Summer Skills Hub experience, pupils, parents and members of the school community came together for a memorable Summer Skills Hub Family Picnic — a day designed to celebrate not only what our children had learnt, but also the relationships and memories built along the way.
After days of discovering new skills and exploring their creativity, our pupils had the opportunity to step away from structured learning and simply enjoy being together with their families and friends.
The picnic was filled with laughter, games, conversations, delicious food and refreshing drinks, creating a relaxed atmosphere where families could connect and enjoy quality time together.
Our pupils were at the heart of the celebration, sharing the excitement with their friends while parents joined in the fun and created their own memorable moments. It was wonderful to see the school community come together beyond the classroom in such a warm and joyful setting.
The day also provided an opportunity to celebrate the Summer Skills Hub journey itself. From the skills our pupils explored to the confidence and creativity they developed, the picnic was a fitting way to appreciate their efforts and celebrate their progress.
More than just a picnic, it was a day of family, friendship, fun and togetherness — a reminder that some of the most meaningful learning experiences are also the ones we share with others.
With happy faces, full plates and plenty of memories made, the Summer Skills Hub Family Picnic was a beautiful way to round off an exciting experience.
At Dawn Michaels School, we learn together, grow together and celebrate together.
